Miami, FL. (December 8, 2021) – International K-pop boy group T1419 continues to make strides in its musical career. This past October they became the first K-Pop act to perform on a national Latin music award show. This month, they made history again with their dance performance of Global Superstar Daddy Yankee’s global hit “PROBLEMA” at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards. ”PROBLEMA” is the first Spanish song to open the Asian Artist Awards.
The Asia Artist Awards was held on Dec. 2 KST at the KBS Arena in Seoul, South Korea. Started in 2016, it is the first-ever award show that honors outstanding achievements and international contributions of Asian artists in television, film, and music.
Aside from the opening, T1419 performed their new digital single “Red Light, Green Light”. It contains the story of nine boys chasing their dreams. If you hear a familiar line in the song, that’s because it was inspired by the traditional Korean game ‘Red Light, Green Light’ from the famous Netflix Korean show ‘Squid Game’. T1419 expressed wittily themselves moving towards their dreams by comparing themselves to the game. For this single, member NOA participated in the lyrics himself to tell the honest stories of him and his members. The single delivers a message that the time of pain and patience in the process of pursuing dreams can be enjoyed like a game depending on your mind.
The Korean Boy band, T1419, continues to make ground in the music industry. From captivating their Latin American fandom with their Monitor Music Awards performance to being the opening for the 2021 “Asia Artist Awards”. Stay tuned for more coming from T1419!
