Miami, FL. (February 16, 2022) – The success continues for the Panamanian artist of the moment and Latin Grammy nominee, Boza, whose music continues to transcend borders and achieve unimaginable success with over one billion total streams among his musical repertoire. This week, his global hits “Ella” and “Ella Remix” (Lunay, Lenny Tavárez, Juhn, Beéle) received Platinum certification in the United States by the RIAA. Since its release, “Ella” has became the second big hit in the young artist’s career without forgetting the song that catapulted him internationally, “Hecha Pa’ Mí”, which this week also received a new certification for a total of 4X Platinum Certifications in the United States.
With over 143 million combined streams, “Ella Remix” came about after the overwhelming support by fans for “Ella”. This original version was certified in multiple countries, including Platinum in Central America and the Caribbean, Colombia, Spain, Peru and, recently, the United States. The remix is following the footsteps of the original track which previously received multiple certifications such as Gold Certified in Spain, Mexico and Central America, and continues to climb Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart, becoming Boza’s second big hit. Additionally, “Ella Remix” has positioned itself in the most important global charts, entering the charts of more than 17 countries and the Latin charts in Japan and Australia.
“Ella Remix” has created trends on social media, especially on TikTok where users have used the single to create their own videos. Currently, it has over 107 thousand user-generated videos created and 65 million views.
Recently, Boza received his first nomination for this year’s edition of Premio Lo Nuestro in the category “Breakthrough Artist – Male”. The annual Premio Lo Nuestro award show will take place on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the FTX Arena in Miami and will be broadcast on Univision.
