Miami, FL. (October 7, 2022) – It has been a year in which all the success for one of the most influential bands in the Regional Mexican genre, La Adictiva, hasn’t stopped. After months of being atop of the radio charts and entering Spotify’s Global Latin Top 50 with their global hit “JGL” with Luis R. Conriquez, a song that already exceeds 125 million streams on Spotify alone, the band today premieres its new album “Eso Es la Riqueza Deluxe” to continue adding hits with unreleased songs that bring a new vibe to La Adictiva’s musical catalog. The album is released under the Anval Music/Virgin Music US Latin label and is available now on all digital music platforms.
“Eso es la Riqueza Deluxe”, produced by Andrés Valdés, gathers the most important composers of the genre including Luciano Luna (he has worked with Banda El Recodo, Banda MS, Joss Favela, Los Horóscopos deDurango), Geovany Cabrera, Ramón Brito, Alex Hernández, among others.
The 12-song project, includes the 6 songs that were released as part of the EP ‘Eso Es La Riqueza’ in May of this year which includes their most valuable single ‘Eso Es La Riqueza’ [with Lenin Ramírez] , the spiteful song “Por Andar Con Un Cabrón”, the song dedicated to independent women “Se Manda Sola”, “Solo Vete Por Favor”, “Mi Trago, Cuál?” and “Cuando Me Vaya”. As part of the new unreleased songs on the album, the focus track “Mi Último Día” (performed by Jerry Corrales), a single which tells the story of a person who dies and seeks to say goodbye to his loved ones, regretting not being able to continue with them but who is fine where he is. The song that will surely make the public reflect on the importance of valuing every second of life. The video, shot in Guadalajara with Unlimited Films was directed by Fabián de la Fuente and was recorded in a sequence shot. The visuals follow the same line as the song, where the protagonist can be seen symbolically saying goodbye to each of his loved ones who mourn him at his funeral.
The album, also includes the songs “Clases Conmigo”, “Cuando me besabas” and “Si Quieres Andar Conmigo”. Undoubtedly, with the characteristic stamp of La Adictiva, the album has a little bit of everything, from romantic songs to cumbias perfect for dancing and each song tells a story, whether it be love, heartbreak, overcoming, empowerment and more.
