The music video for ‘AMAZON’ was directed by the renowned Marlon Peña, who has worked with Latin music superstars including Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha.
Miami, FL. (November 8, 2022) – Under their new name TFN, previously known as T1419, released their new mini album BEFORE SUNRISE PART 4 thus closing out their debut theme BEFORE SUNRISE album saga.
The lead single ‘AMAZON’ was directed by Marlon Peña who directed hit singles such as Daddy Yankee’s “Con Calma” which surpassed 2.5 billion views and “De Vuelta Pa’ La Vuelta” by Daddy Yankee & Marc Anthony, which topped the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart. While on their Latin promo tour in July, after their Premios Juventud participation, the group flew to Miami to film the video.
In a small interview with Director Marlon Peña, he shares some of his favorite moments from filming:
- “This is the first time I filmed 9 artists altogether and a glam team so big that between takes it seemed like a Nascar Race. The way they did the reset and took care of every detail of the group members’ costumes, makeup, and hair; I felt that they have a lot of respect for the filming time.”
- “The director of photography and I spent a week learning the choreography to mark the moments of transitions. When it came to filming time, it took us only two days since the boys did the complete choreography of the entire song.”
- “I didn’t know the members of the group so we did “cheat cheat” and I learned their names by hair color and style but when they got to the set they all had different hair colors and different styles.” LOL
- “On set, we had translators to communicate with the group, but by the second day, we almost understood each other because we created work chemistry.”
- “The video was formed almost entirely on LED Screen to recreate all the sets.”
TFN’s ‘AMAZON’ takes you along with the group in search of finding “their true selves” in the jungle. In recent interviews with Billboard Argentina, El Heraldo de Mexico, and more; TFN shares the key message of ‘AMAZON’ which is “… in the jungle the strong rules the weak and this reflects in the reality of the world. Being a representative of teenagers now, we are showing that you can overcome (weak and become strong).”
TFN began their BEFORE SUNRISE journey with the message of finding “their true selves”. With the closing of this chapter, the group has grown and improved musically. The EP includes a total of five songs such as the new focus track “AMAZON,” “Deep dive,” “BLOOM,” and “SLATE,” in which the members participated in writing and composing their own lyrics.
