Miami, FL. (April 20, 2023) – Global artist NATTI NATASHA premieres today her most personal song to date, one she’s dedicating to her life partner and manager Raphy Pina, with whom she’s experiencing one of the most difficult moments of her life due to their temporary separation almost a year ago. Today, Natti finds a way to use her music as an outlet to express her emotions, finding the perfect way to express just how much she misses him. Released today under the Sony Music Latin/Pina Records, “La Falta Que Me Haces” (How Much I Miss You) is now available on all digital music platforms.
“La Falta Que Me Haces” was produced and written by the multi-faceted Mexican singer-songwriter and ASCAP Songwriter of the Year award winner, Joss Favela, with whom NATTI NATASHA previously collaborated with on her heart-felt global anthem “La Mejor Version De Mi” (The Best Version of Me). Characterized by a nostalgic and melodious rhythm, this ballad conveys NATTI’s deepest and most personal feelings, feelings she’s held close to her heart for the past year. Adding to the heart wrenching and emotional lyrics, the single is accompanied by an original piece of artwork, as the single’s artwork was created by a detainee who’s being held at the same detention center as her partner. Created by hand, the artwork show’s Natti’s face with a tear trickling down, the tear representing the feelings both Natti and Raphy feel at this moment in time due to their separation.
Coinciding with the world premiere of her new single “La Falta Que Me Haces”, NATTI NATASHA graced the stage of the 2023 Latin American Music Awards as co-host and shocked audiences with a moving world premiere performance dedicated to her beloved. In addition, Natti was recognized with three nominations, including “Collaboration of the Year” and “Best Pop/Urban Collaboration” for “Mayor Que Usted”, and “Best Urban Artist”. The awards ceremony was broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 20.
After being censored by multiple traditional video platforms, NATTI NATASHA recently premiered the HOT and steamy new single and video “Algarete” through her official fan page nattinatasha.com. The song set the stage for the musical direction Natti’s embarking in, where she not only continues to use her music to ignite clubs but also empowers women around the world through lyrics.
This Friday, NATTI NATASHA returns for a second time to the Coachella 2023 stage, joining her sister Becky G. Last weekend, the Latin superstars set socials on fire, generating over 500 million impressions, with one of the most iconic moments of the festival’s first weekend, a surprise performance of the song that changed Latin music forever and most viewed collaboration on YouTube with over 2 billion views, the global anthem “Sin Pijama”.
