“Que Si, Que No” will be Manu Manzo’s first single to be distributed through TikTok’s new music distribution platform, SoundOn
Miami, FL. (April 27, 2023) – Neo-Pop artist Manu Manzo has released a mic-dropping anthem, “Que Si, Que No”. The electronic R&B and Jazz-infused track is the first single from Manzo’s highly-anticipated album “Luna en Geminis”. The song has been released under TikTok’s new music distribution platform, SoundOn, and is NOW available on all digital streaming platforms.
Venezuelan-born singer/songwriter, Manu Manzo reflected on a real life experience when writing this track, and it reflects her feeling of knowing deep down in your core and realizing that the person you’re with is not right for you. She co-wrote the track with Puerto Rican songwriter Maritza Maresma and Mexican songwriter and producer Daniel Grossman (a.k.a. LUCH). Alongside honest lyrics, the track features a soulful Saxophone melody as an ode to her first musical love: JAZZ.
The single artwork was also designed by the talented artist (and her sister), Anabella Feugas.
“I’ve chosen ‘Que Si, Que No’ as the first single because it was the song that helped me break away from someone that was wrong for me, and come into my own,” Manzo says. She added, “This project is led 98% percent by women, and we’re excited to announce that all singles and the album will be released with our new partner SoundOn”.
Projecting emotional vocals over downtempo Latin Pop / R&B moods, Manu Manzo shakes up Latin music with a simmering shot of soul. The Latin GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer, songwriter and producer enchants her audience with a signature style that’s both smooth and spellbinding. Growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, she developed a diverse musical palette as a kid, listening to everyone from Ella Fitzgerald to Celia Cruz and Alejandro Sanz. Relocating to Miami at 11 years old, she was admitted to the world-renowned Berklee College of Music. She gained attention from audiences with her indie debut EP, Como Soy. Making noticeable waves in the industry, she earned a Latin GRAMMY® nomination for “Best New Artist” (2015). She continued gaining momentum with the 2018 release, Intermedio EP, and would follow with the unveiling of her 2019 release Después de la 12. “Te Quiero Ver” [with Feid] notably amassed 1.2 million YouTube views and 469K Spotify streams. In 2019, Manu represented Venezuela in MIDEM’s Accelerator Program and her banger “Caminando” surpassed 5.1 million YouTube views. In 2021, she joined forces with Paty B for “Grande” before serving up the sultry “SacaLaCamara”.
To date, she has gathered 10+ million YouTube views and 10+ million streams, in addition to landing looks from Telemundo, Miami New Times and Billboard, who recognized her as a “Latin Artist on the Rise”. “Que Si, Que No” will not only entice audiences to take notice but will lead them in the direction of Manu’s first-ever full length album, “LUNA EN GEMINIS”, due out in May 2023.
