Manu Manzo combines sounds and experiences on anticipated new album “Luna en Géminis”

Miami, FL. (May 26, 2023) – Following the release of “Q Si, Q No”, Pop R&B singer song-writer and Latin GRAMMY® nominee Manu Manzo presents her most personal project to date, her first full-length album “Luna En Géminis”. With a variety of musical influences from ambiental sounds and R&B, to reggaeton and more, this album serves as a catharsis for Manu Manzo, who worked hard to convey her innermost feelings through each song and succeeded. “Luna en Géminis” is now available on all digital music platforms.

“Luna en Géminis” emerged during Manu’s darkest moments, “My moon is in Gemini and the zodiac moon is what guides emotions. For me, music is emotion and that duality is represented in my life in multiple ways: more so now that I lived through the bad and appreciate the good, that’s where my inspiration for Luna en Géminis comes from. It is the yin and yang, the black and white,” explained Manu Manzo. “This album includes real-life experiences that perfectly depict where I was emotionally. This is the beginning and end of a chapter in my life where I grew a lot. To make this album, I bet on my musical tastes, said what I wanted to say without filters, and transformed my bad experiences into something positive. I opted to always having another woman in the studio, composing and producing.”

With musical influences stemming from artists like Sade and Buddha Bar, and fusing ambiental sounds, R&B and reggaeton, the album has a more alternative feel. It includes collaborations with Maffio and Calacote on “Pegaíto”, one of the album’s focus tracks which is characterized by its sensual and danceable rhythm.
