(June 15, 2023) – The #1 group on Spotify’s Global Chart, Eslabón Armado, arrived in Puerto Rico for the first time and took home the award for Top Artist – Regional Urban at Premios Tu Música Urbano (PTMU). With an iconic performance that many were waiting for, Eslabón Armado sang the viral hit, “Ella Baila Sola,” live for the first time, taking over the stage at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico where the awards were held this Thursday, June 15.
“Mi Compa, qué le parece esa morra? La que anda bailando sola me gusta pa’ mí,” verse from their hit song “Ella Baila Sola,” was how the group started off their thank you speech as the crowd chanted along with them the words to the song that has gone viral on social media. It was one of the biggest moments of the night without a doubt. “Thank you Puerto Rico. We want to dedicate this award to our parents who are our managers, to Mexico because without Mexico we would not be here. Thank you God. Thank you all very much and long live Puerto Rico,” expressed Pedro Tovar, vocalist for Eslabón Armado, after receiving the award.
The group had the audience singing at the top of their lungs to “Ella Baila Sola,” a song that the public has embraced since its launch two months ago, under DEL Records Label, and today is leading Billboard’s Global 200 Chart. With guitars in hand and doing what they do best, the performance delivered good energy, eye-catching scenery and a strong connection with the audience from beginning to end.
