“Medusa” enters the Top 20 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart
This week, the track holds No.1 on Mexico’s Latin Pop chart, Latin Pop and General charts in Ecuador and debuted No.1 in Venezuela
Miami, FL. (July 24, 2023) – Gloria Trevi‘s latest hit single, “Medusa” continues to lead radio charts in Ecuador and ranks Top 20 in the U.S. on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart. Aside from setting trends in Ecuador and North America, “Medusa” is the most played Pop song on Mexican radio reaching over 37 million listeners, according to Monitor Latino. Additionally, this week the single also debuted No. 1 on Latin Pop and General charts in Venezuela. There’s no doubt that “Medusa” is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing Pop songs in recent months throughout Latin America, Europe and the U.S.
The popularity of “Medusa” has carried over to night nightclubs in Europe, Latin America and the US. Throughout social networks, Trevi fans have begun to share videos from nightclubs dancing and singing to the tune of “Medusa”, a trend that Trevi calls “Medusa mania”.
But this has not been all, “Medusa” is causing a stir in Shazam in the U.S., becoming one of the most searched songs on the app. With this release, which is her first single as an independent artist, Trevi opened a new chapter in his career with a sound that showcases techno dance rhythms. The track is available on all digital music platforms under Great Talent Records.
Recently, Trevi made a triumphant return to Pollstar’s Live 75 list, where she ranked 23 among the highest-grossing touring artists (so far) in 2023. A few weeks ago, Trevi gave another spectacular show at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional, a show that Star+ subscribers can now relive exclusively through the streaming service until September 22.
