“Ella Baila Sola” was ranked No. 9 on Variety Hitmaker’s list, the highest entry for any Latin song this year.
Miami, FL (December 4, 2023) – This past Saturday, Eslabon Armado was honored with the “Collaboration of the Year” award for their massive global hit “Ella Baila Sola” feat. Peso Pluma, released via DEL records at the 2023 Variety Hitmaker’s Event in Los Angeles, CA. The track was ranked No. 9 on Variety Hitmaker’s “Top 25 Songs of 2023” and is the highest entry for any Latin song this year. This honorary achievement further proves that 2023 was the year of Eslabon Armado.
The group was presented the award by Variety Journalist, Thania Garcia, who introduced the group in both Spanish and English. The group was the only Latin act to receive an award for the night, representing not only Mexico but the entire Latin diaspora. The group delivered a heartfelt emotional speech, thanking their family, God, DEL Records, and their devoted fanbase.
The A-list event included appearances from a range of star-studded celebrities, such as SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Victoria Monet, Mark Ronson, Maren Morris, Metro Boomin, Boygenius, and more. The group had the opportunity to meet the chart-topping GRAMMY® winning artist, Billie Eilish, and took a photo with the Variety “Best Film Song” honoree.
