Miami, FL. (July 24, 2024) – “Yo Soy” (I Am). That’s the powerful message delivered by Amanda Miguel‘s new album. The album honors the legendary singer’s cultural identity and connects her to her Argentine roots like never before.
The complicity and decades-long mutual admiration between two legendary artists can be witnessed in the new video “Solo Le Pido a Dios”, Miguel’s newest single from her new album with fellow patriot, known as the “Argentine Bob Dylan,” León Gieco. The beautiful “black & white” video was filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina (Capilla del Señor) and is the sixth music video from “Yo Soy.”

“Yo Soy” is one of Amanda Miguel’s most important musical masterpieces, where she shares her most personal side, her essence, her roots and memories, which speak to her identity and the music at the root of her native Argentina. Feeling 100% Latin American, she dedicates this project to the folklore of her country.
The album contains never before seen collaborations with legendary figures of Latin American folklore, including “Soy Pan, Soy Paz, Soy Más” with composer Piero, “Balderrama” with Soledad Pastorutti and “No dejes que los chinos hablen”, and original and unreleased track with Leo Dan.
Featuring ten unique works inspired by Latin American folklore, Amanda Miguel brings some of Argentina’s most beloved classics to life with her powerful voice. Released under his DIAM Music, the album was produced by Argentine musician Pablo Ahmad. This collection of songs shows the most authentic expression of Latin American musical art, as each song represents a stage in her life and marks a new milestone in his career.
