Daddy Yankee announced his retirement from secular music. In March 2022, he revealed that he would retire following the release of his final album “Legendaddy” and his farewell tour, “La Última Vuelta World Tour.” This marked the end of his career in secular music, where he has been a major influence in the reggaeton genre for decades. He released “Donante de Sangre” on March 29th (Good Friday) of this year as a song dedicated to his faith and how Jesus transformed his life.
