Los Angeles, CA (October 16, 2024) – Renowned regional Mexican group Grupo Intocable continues to break records with their latest single, “Mi Castigo,” which has become their 20th number one on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. The track, from their Latin GRAMMY-nominated album Modus Operandi, also highlights their ongoing dominance in the genre, competing for Best Norteño Album at the 2024 Latin GRAMMY Awards.
With an impressive career spanning decades, Intocable has earned 69 entries on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, with 50 of those reaching the top 10—the most for any regional Mexican act. Additionally, the band boasts 57 entries on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, of which 20 have landed in the top 10, underscoring their immense popularity across the Latin music landscape.
Currently, the band is electrifying fans across the United States on their 30th Anniversary Tour, performing to sold-out crowds in cities like Los Angeles, Houston, San Antonio, and Phoenix. The tour is a celebration of their two-decade-long journey, offering a dynamic mix of classic hits and new tracks like Mi Castigo, proving that their music continues to resonate with both longtime fans and new listeners.
