Miami, FL. (November 1, 2024) – In honor of Día de Muertos, Jacqie Rivera has released her new single “Ni Judas,” an emotional track that celebrates freedom after an exhausting relationship. Released under the Virgin Music Group label, “Ni Judas” is now available on all digital platforms.
For the production of “Ni Judas,” Jacqie Rivera collaborated with producer Carlos Álvarez to achieve the perfect sound, creating a version closer to her style. “The first time I heard the song, it had a more traditional ranchera vibe, and although I loved the lyrics, I felt the music needed a different touch. I spoke with Carlos, and together we crafted a version that retains elements of Regional Mexican music but with a contemporary twist that represents me,” she said.
Written by Rogelio Salazar, Juan Diego Sandoval, and Fernando Ortiz, “Ni Judas” incorporates elements of Regional Mexican music, blending accordion sounds with a more modern and universal essence. While the music is lively and invites listeners to dance from the first beat, the lyrics speak of heartbreak and disappointment, yet also represent freedom—the feeling of breaking free from a relationship that holds you back.
