Coinciding with the vibrant Latin Grammy Week festivities, the exclusive awards ceremony honored the legends behind Latin music’s most iconic songs, featuring an A-list lineup of presenters and attendees, led by the evening’s charismatic host and Latin superstar, Erika Ender. In a tribute to the creative legends of Latin music, Peermusic President and COO, Kathy Spanberger, inducted Saúl Hernández, the three-time Grammy Award-winning Mexican composer, singer, guitarist, and producer. The renowned musician, producer, and composer Emilio Estefan presented the distinguished Medal of Freedom to Olga Guillot’s daughter, Olga Maria Touzet Guillot, in a heartfelt tribute to the Cuban music icon’s enduring legacy. |

The coveted Premio Triunfador was awarded to the rising composer and singer Luis Figueroa, with Puerto Rican star Pedro Capó presenting the honor, underscoring Figueroa’s growing influence in the Latin music scene. The celebrated induction of Julio Reyes Copello was presented by Grammy-winning executive producer and A&R professional Andrés Recio, highlighting Copello’s impressive contributions to Latin music as an acclaimed Colombian producer and songwriter. Kathy Spanberger received the distinguished Ralph S. Peer Publisher Award, presented by the respected Peermusic CEO, Mary Megan Peer, recognizing her impactful role in music publishing. The Elena Casals La Musa Award was bestowed upon two-time Latin Grammy Award winner, singer-songwriter, producer, and talented trumpet player Ella Bric, presented by senior vice president of latin music for Universal Music Publishing Group, Ana Rosa Santiago, celebrating Bric’s creative achievements. |

The LA MUSA AWARD creators Rudy Pérez and Desmond Child joined by LSHF, Marti Cuevas, presented a special induction to Francisco Saldaña, known as Luny, the acclaimed producer and composer behind numerous reggaeton hits, honoring his influential legacy in the genre. Award received by Gustavo Lopez on his behalf. The prestigious Premio Icono was presented to Luis Fonsi by songwriter, composer and singer, Erika Ender, celebrating his enduring impact on Latin music and his contributions to the industry. The influential Gustavo Menéndez, President of U.S. Latin & Latin America at Warner Chappell Music, presented the Premio La Leyenda en Vida to the legendary Draco Rosa to commemorate his iconic career. |
The Canción de Todos los Tiempos award, recognizing the Song of All Time, was presented to the iconic hit “Conga.” The MARLOW ROSADO ALL-STAR BAND delivered a dynamic performance of the song, which was written by Enrique E. García and recorded by The Miami Sound Machine, and produced by Emilio Estefan. “Conga” was celebrated for its towering influence and enduring contribution to Latin music.
