(November 19, 2024) – Global Latin sensation Jay Wheeler has partnered today with Amazon Music to celebrate Puerto Rican Heritage for the first time ever with the release of the Amazon Music Original track “Verte Por Ahí” and a new documentary “El Género ft. Jay Wheeler,” highlighting the artist’s illustrious career and achievements.
Known as the urban genre’s “Favorite Voice,” Jay Wheeler broke out onto the music scene with his romantic brand of reggaeton at the height of Latin trap. In this new documentary executive produced by Jessy Terrero, Amazon Music traveled to Puerto Rico to get up close and personal with Wheeler and the people and collaborators closest to him. Featuring the Amazon Music Original “Verte Por Ahi,” the documentary offers an intimate look at someone who has come to embody the Latin urban movement, and gained a special place in the hearts of many young fans around the world, thanks to his authenticity and vulnerability.
“Verte Por Ahí (Amazon Music Original)” is available starting today, November 19, on Amazon Music, as well as it’s accompanying documentary which can now be found on Amazon Music and YouTube.
Jay Wheeler recently concluded his U.S. TRAPPii Tour which visited over 25 cities in the U.S., earning multiple SOLD-OUT shows, including New York, Orlando, Miami and Los Angeles. His return to Latin America with his TRAPPii Tour has been nothing short of amazing, already earning SOLD-OUT shows in Peru and the Movistar Arena in Chile. The Latin America leg of Wheeler’s TRAPPii Tour is scheduled to make stops in Guatemala, El Salvador and Mexico in November, followed by 3 shows in Spain in December.
