Houston, Texas (December 16, 2024) – Legendary Mexican band Intocable celebrated the conclusion of their historic 30th Anniversary Tour as honored guests during the NFL game between the Houston Texans and the Miami Dolphins, held on Sunday, December 15, at NRG Stadium. The event, broadcast on CBS, marked an unforgettable moment for the group, which continues to demonstrate its impact across diverse stages.
During the game, Intocable had the opportunity to interact with fans and the Houston Texans NFL team, who secured their second consecutive AFC South division championship title, earning an automatic playoff spot. This special occasion strengthened the bond between their passion for sports and the cultural impact of their music, symbolizing the culmination of a tour that electrified thousands of fans across the United States and Mexico, highlighting the band’s three-decade legacy.
Intocable’s 30th Anniversary Tour has been a resounding success, with SOLD-OUT concerts in key cities such as Los Angeles, Houston, San Antonio, and Phoenix, culminating in two spectacular closing performances in Monterrey. The tour featured an unforgettable mix of classic hits and new songs, including “Mi Castigo,” their 20th single to reach the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. The band also celebrates the success of their latest album, Modus Operandi, nominated for the 2024 Latin GRAMMY® Awards.
As part of this celebration, the group was honored with three major distinctions in San Antonio, recognizing their cultural and artistic legacy. They received an official proclamation from the Texas Governor’s Music Office, and each band member was presented with the Texas state flag by the Texas House of Representatives. The flags had been displayed at the State Capitol in Austin, TX, on November 19, in Intocable’s honor. Additionally, they were bestowed the title of “Emissary of the Muses” by San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg, an honor previously awarded to icons like Bon Jovi and Journey, among others.
