San Juan, PR (December 18, 2024) – Urban music star Lenny Tavárez took the mound at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium last Saturday to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Cangrejeros de Santurce game against the Criollos de Caguas. Fresh off his successful tour in Spain, Lenny made a special stop in San Juan to honor his love for sports and connect with his Puerto Rican roots.
The Cangrejeros de Santurce, a historic baseball team owned by global music icon Daddy Yankee, provided the perfect stage for Lenny’s tribute to Puerto Rico’s love of baseball.
Lenny, a passionate sports fan, has been making waves both on and off the stage. Just last month, he was invited to the Choque de Gigantes in Miami and was also given the honor of throwing the first pitch in another high-profile match between the Cangrejeros and Criollos.
“This is a dream come true,” said Lenny. “Representing my island and sharing this moment with the fans means everything to me. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and being here is unforgettable.”
Lenny Tavárez continues to showcase his pride for Puerto Rico while balancing his dynamic career in music. Fans can look forward to more exciting moments as he wraps up an incredible year.
