Miami, FL (April 3, 2025) – Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) celebrates Women’s History Month by championing female talent worldwide. As a leader in the music industry, UMPG is bringing together its global offices to host intimate events that empower female songwriters, producers, and artists—ensuring that their artistry takes center stage.
In Miami, UMPG partnered with She is the Music to host a three-day music camp (March 17-19) at Mindful Music Lab, led by wellness and music expert Brittany Berger. Designed as a safe and supportive space for female artists, songwriters, and producers, the camp filled a gap often missing in traditional music sessions—fostering both collaboration and community. About the unique songwriting camp experience, SVP of Latin America & US Latin Ana Rosa Santiago, expressed, “We are proud to support the incredible women on our global rosters, providing them with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and create music together. Partnering with She Is The Music and Mindful Music Lab to bring this camp to life has been an amazing experience, and the positive feedback from the talented women who attended speaks volumes about its impact.”
Each day began with a sound healing meditation, followed by songwriting sessions featuring remarkable talents from Miami, Mexico, Chile, and France such as Shirel, Renee, MJ Nebreda, Maia, and Drea. About the authentic and mindful space created for the songwriting session, the founder of Mindful Music Lab, Brittany Berger, added “These women turned healing into hits. Creating a space of authenticity, connection, confidence, and trust – creating not just as artists, but as family. That’s how we make mindful music.” This unique initiative blended creativity with mindfulness, reinforcing the importance of mental health in music while encouraging a strong and supportive network—proving that UMPG is more than just a team; it’s a family.
