Produced by YOFRED and composed by Gloria Trevi and Marcela de la Garza, the song includes the traditional Flamenco choreography highlighting clapping, zapateo and jaleos, which were performed by Trevi and actor, model and flamenco dancer, Timo Nuñez [Debbie Allen, Jennifer López, Selena Gomez].
Without a doubt, Gloria Trevi continues to push the boundaries of contemporary music and creativity, without leaving behind her trademark artistic stamp. “La Recaída” is a track about heartbreak, where Trevi is addicted to the love of a forbidden man. Knowing he does not suit her, she continues to return to him as if an addiction has taken over her spirit and mind, completely captivating her.
Directed by Pablo Croce, the music video was filmed at the iconic Faena Theater in Miami. The video tells the story of a woman’s heartbreak by way of the forbidden love of a man who seduces her into temptation. The theater transforms into an intimate Flamenco venue, known as a Peña Flamenca, where the leading man interpreted by renowned Flamenco dancer, Timo Nuñez, uses his sensuality and strength as a Flamenco dancer to seduce Trevi into falling in love with him, once more.
One of the most impressive highlights of the music video is the spectacular and eye-catching haute couture wardrobe used by Trevi. The Mexican goddess features wardrobe changes by renowned designer Oscar de la Renta, as well as Paco Rabanne, Balenciaga, Tom Ford, The BlondsLevis Redone and Olivier Bernoux (fans), among others.
