Miami, FL. (August 15, 2023) – Gloria Trevi has vividly told her story through music, reaching three generations of fans that have made her an unstoppable global cultural and musical force. As one of the most influential Latin American female singer-songwriters today, Trevi breathes new air into her life’s story with a compilation of 10 newly recorded classics for the release of “Mi Soundtrack Vol. 1”. Inspired by the premiere of her bio series “Ellas Soy Yo, Gloria Trevi”, which premiered exclusively on ViX, the soundtrack includes some of the classic hits that marked different stages in her life, and also includes the original track “Que Se Acabe El Mundo” (“Let the World End”). Released through her new independent label Great Talent Records, you can listen to “Mi Soundtrack Vol. 1” on all digital music platforms.
This first volume of the soundtrack was produced by Gloria Trevi, Gilberto Elguezabal, Eduardo Bladinieres and Alcover. In the first of a two volume series, Trevi recreates some of her best-known classics, giving them a new air of freedom and bringing them to the present day with a renewed vibe and sound.
The album also includes the new track “Que Se Acabe el Mundo”, which was recorded for the bio series and is accompanied by an emotional and powerful music video. Written by Gloria Trevi and Marcela de la Garza, Trevi explains, “‘Que Se Acaba el Mundo’ is a song of love and terror. It was written around that psychology. At the same time, it talks about what first love often feels like as a teenager, and when your first love is forbidden because you’re not yet ready to fall in love.”‘
