The band received three prestigious honors prior to their SOLD OUT concert at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas this past Wednesday, November 27
San Antonio, TX (December 2, 2024) – The legendary Regional Mexican band Intocable was honored with three prestigious honors, reaffirming their undeniable cultural and artistic contribution in over more than three decades, on Wednesday, November 27, prior to their SOLD OUT concert at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, TX.
The group received an official proclamation from the Texas Music Office of the Governor of TX; each band member received the state flag from the TX House of Representatives, which was displayed in the capital (Austin, TX) on November 19 on behalf of Intocables. Additionally, they received the honor of “Emissary of the Muses” from the Mayor from the city of San Antonio, an honor previously granted to icons such as Bon Jovi and Journey, among others.

“We dedicate these honors to our fans, our culture and the memories we have created through music over these 30 years,” said Ricky Muñoz, lead vocalist of Intocable.
These honors highlight the band’s role as pioneers in the music industry and their ability to break cultural barriers with their unique style.
To continue the celebration, Intocable delivered an electrifying concert at the Freeman Coliseum, delighting the audience with a mix of classic hits and new fan favorites. Highlights included a performance of “Mi Castigo,” the band’s twentieth single to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. They also included highlight tracks from their most recent album, “Modus Operandi,” which was nominated for a Latin GRAMMY® 2024.
