Miami, FL (January 22, 2025) – Two-time GRAMMY® nominee and granddaughter of the legendary Pedro Infante, Lupita Infante, has achieved another milestone with yet another Premio Lo Nuestro nomination. She is honored in the prestigious category of “Mexican Music – Female Artist of the Year”, solidifying her status as one of the leading women in the genre today. The 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards will take place Thursday, February 20th at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and will broadcast LIVE on Univision. Voting is open from January 22 to February 4 on PremioLoNuestro.com.

Considered to be one the most critically praised Musica Mexicana acts of the new generation, this 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro nomination adds to her ever-growing list of prestigious honors, including: 2 GRAMMY® nominations (including one for Best Musica Mexicana album in 2024), a feature on People en Español’s Most Powerful Women of 2024 List, being the recipient of the one-of-a-kind Latino Spirit Award by the California Latino Legislative Caucus, and the recipient of the “Mayor Excellence Award” by the city of Downey, CA, to name a few.
Recently, Lupita released her new track, “¿Seguimos o No?” The song was brought to life through a collaborative effort with acclaimed songwriters, producers, and artists from the Regional Mexican genre during an inspiring session at Spotify’s Los Angeles offices. Contributing to the track were Mauro Muñoz (recognized for his work with Reik, Carin León, and Kenia OS), Agua Tinta, Fernandita Díaz, and Lupita Infante herself.
